Outstanding UWI Science Undergrads selected for 2020 Huawei programme

Huawei, has again partnered with The University of the West Indies, Mona for its 4th annual staging of the “Seeds for the Future” Programme.  The five-day programme which focuses on information communication technology and preparation for the local ICT sector, will take place online over a one-week period that commenced November 16, 2020 and will end on November 20, 2020.  The programme’s online opening ceremony took place virtually on November 16, 2020.  Six students from the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) and one from the Faculty of Engineering are participating in the 2020 programme.  The students are Daniel Jennings, Cargill Seiveright, Jheanel Brown, Swayne James, Phillip Llewellyn (Computing) and Malik Edwards (Physics) and Courtney-Ann Hanson (Faculty of Engineering).
