Dr. Dimitris Herrera from the Department of Geography & Sustainability, University of Tennessee–Knoxville and the Department of Geography, Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo was hosted by the Departments of Physics and Geography & Geology for a research visit in July 2023. During his visit Dr. Herrera engaged in discussions on collaborative research projects and delivered a well-received guest lecture on "Hydroclimate in the Circum-Caribbean in Common Era and 21st Century".
