In celebration of Fire Safety Awareness Week 2018, the Faculty of Science and Technology will host its second Public Lecture Series with a forum on Jamaica’s Fire Building Code on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 5:30pm in Science Lecture Theatre 1. The Keynote Speaker will be Mrs. Julia Douett (Bureau of Standards, Jamaica). The panelists will include Mr. Julian Buckle, Ms Winsome Grant and Mr. Everton Dunkley (Jamaica Fire Brigade); while the Moderator will be Dr. Tanya Kerr, Head of the Mona Fire Research Group and Lecturer, Faculty of Science and Technology (UWI, Mona).
