The 21st General Meeting and Conference of The Caribbean Academy Sciences (CAS) will be hosted by the Caribbean Academy Sciences, Jamaica (CASJ) and held in collaboration with The University of the West Indies, Mona, during the period November 27-30, 2018 as part of the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of The UWI and the 30th anniversary of CAS. In association with the Faculty of Science and Technology, there will also be a free public lecture hosted on Wednesday, November 28, at the Blue Room, The Mona Visitors' Lodge at 7:00 pm, with cocktails being served at 6:30 pm. The theme of the forum is "Achieving 1.5° C: Is There A Role For Geoengineering".
