The Faculty of Science and Technology proudly introduces their free public lecture series entitled "Science For Today", kicking things off with a forum on earthquakes and how they affect Jamaica. The panelists will include Professor Simon Mitchell, Head of the Department of Geography and Geology (UWI, Mona) and The Earthquake Unit; and Dr. Nicolas McMorris, Civil Engineer and Lecturer from the Faculty of Engineering (UWI, Mona); while the Moderator will be Dr. Sherene James-Williamson, Associate Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology (UWI, Mona).
