Twenty FST Service Staff trained as Public Area Hygiene Attendants by HEART/NSTA Trust

The Faculty of Science and Technology in partnership with the Human Employment and Resource Training/National Service Training Agency ((HEART/NSTA) Trust hosted a “Public Area Hygiene Attendant Training” for Service staff on September 30, 2022. Twenty support staff participated in the training. Positive feedback was received from the HEART/NSTA Hospitality Instructor Mrs. Julia Smith and HEART/NSTA Assessor, Mr. Kenroy Gordon and participants. The Service staff also indicated their desire for additional training and expressed gratitude for being granted the opportunity to become certified Public Area Hygiene Attendants.  Through the Staff Engagement portfolio, the training was organized by Mrs. Karen Stewart (Biotechnology Centre), Mrs. Rosalene Simmonds (Dean's Office), Mrs. Terry-Ann Collins-Fray (Dean’s Office, FST) and Prof. Tannecia Stephenson (Deputy Dean). The Faculty expresses it gratitude to HEART/NSTA for the forged partnership and anticipates future trainings!
