On Monday, January 6, 2020 the official launch of the 28th staging of the biennial, Mona Symposium took place in the Science Lecture Theatre 3 (SLT3). The event featured addresses by esteemed members of the UWI Mona community including Vice-Chancellor of The University of the West Indies, Professor Sir Hilary Beckles; Principal of The UWI Mona, Professor Dale Webber; and former Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology and Chair of the Mona Symposium, Professor Paul Reese.
