The annual FST Academic Staff Retreat hosted by the Office of the Dean took place at the onset of the Summer break, on June 25, 2019. Faciliated by the Department of Physics, persons in attendance included the Deputy and Associate Deans, Heads of Departments along with specially invited members of staff who gathered for a time of reflection on the past year while presenting ideas and future plans for the respective departments. The primary theme of the presentations surrounded the concept of working towards a more unified faculty verses working in 'silos' going forward. Professor Taylor, Dean of the Faculty, led the discussions and presented the framework for 2019-2020 while highlighting significant events to be planned.  We anticipate the exciting things the faculty has in store for the upcomimg school year!
