FST to Host Annual CAPE Workshops in Kingston and Mobay

The Faculty of Science and Technology will be hosting its annual CAPE Workshops from January 7–11, 2019 and January 14–18, 2019. These workshops are designed to reinforce theoretical knowledge through theory review, practice questions, and laboratory experience. There are 6 separate one-day workshops in the fields of Biology, Computer Science, Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics, and Physics for a cost of $2000 per person, per workshop unit. The topics and respective workshop dates are shown in the attached table. The sessions will run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The workshops will take place at two venues:

 Montego Bay – UWI, Western Jamaica Campus – Tuesday, January 15 – Wednesday, January 16, 2019

 Kingston – UWI, Mona Campus – Monday, January 7 – Friday, January 11, 2019 and

Monday, January 14 – Friday, January 18, 2019
