Meet Tyreke McLean, the FST Guild Committee President| 2021-2022

Tyreke is a third-year student studying Marine Biology and Computer Science, with the aim of elevating environmental conservation and practices using technological advancements. His goal is to one day highlight the Caribbean region’s natural wonders and contribute to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Tyreke’s current mission is to serve the Faculty of Science and Technology student body with dedication as President of the FST Guild Committee. When Tyreke is not volunteering or participating in school/ community based co-curricular activities, he spends his time editing his video projects, swimming, creative writing, debating, and thinking of random solutions for risk management. Tyreke’s drive for advocacy efforts stems from his personal background and not wanting others to go through the same struggles he faced as a student, whether it is online or face-to-face. His has a strong interest in Caribbean culture, history, and politics.
