FST joins The UWI in acknowledging its Admin Professionals

Administrative Professionals' Day was celebrated by the FST on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 under the theme, " Administrative Professionals: Navigating Beyond Barriers". The Faculty collectively paused to acknowledge and express appreciation for the hard work of its administrative team spread across its various Departments, Centres and Institutes. The wider University joined in the recognition via a jointly staged virtual programme. The programme included expressions of gratitude from the Campus Registrar, Dr Donovan Stanberry and the Chair, Campus Council of Deans, Prof. David Tennant followed by a presentation by the National Housing Trust (NHT) on "Opportunities for Home Ownership". Mr Jahwanza Hall and Ms Camesha Samuels of the NHT gave an informative and well received presentation and fielded questions from participants.  Administrative staff within the FST received tokens from the Faculty Office and their respective Heads of Departments. Administrative staff at all levels agreed that they felt appreciated, energized and mobilized by the efforts made to recognize them.

FST thanks the organizing team including Administrative Officers from all Faculties and the WJC as well as Mrs Terry-Ann Collins-Fray of the Dean's Office for a job well done.
