Genomics of Pimento: to determine gender profile of ♂ and ♀; continued work on the subfamily Myrtoidae (postdoc); Sargassum working grp. - Investigation into the 2° metabolites & their potential for use as antimicrobials, antioxidants, biofertilizers and composting.  In the near future, investigation into algal biofuels.
Research Areas: 
Eukaryotic Microorganisms / Phycology; Economic & Medicinal Botany.
