UWI Science Research featured on “Fighting COVID-19: Science in Action” - Series 2

 

On August 12, 2020, the Faculty of Science and Technology hosted the second series for the virtual forum entitled: “Fighting COVID-19: Science in Action”. The forum was moderated by Dr. Marvadeen Singh-Wilmot (Department of Chemistry) and detailed how science, and in particular UWI science, is helping our region in the fight against COVID-19. The forum highlighted the importance of data science, natural products, water and wastewater, mask wearing, international cooperation and the contribution of students in tackling this pandemic.
