The Ceremonies for the Presentation of Graduates are formal and graduates to be presented to the Chancellor are required to wear academic dress, that is, the University Graduate Gown with appropriate Faculty Hood and Mortar Board where applicable. The wearing of corsages and boutonnieres is NOT permitted. In addition, female graduates are required to wear WHITE ONLY - either dresses or Suits are acceptable with Black Shoes. In keeping with the formal nature of this activity, and the standards expected, ladies, in particular, are reminded that modest dress is expected. Very low cut necklines with exposed cleavages, exposed stomachs/navels etc. or any other forms of dress deemed by the University to be unsuitable could take away your opportunity to be presented to the Chancellor. Male graduates are required to wear Dark Lounge Suits.
