Professor Monica Smikle
Prof. Smikle is Professor of Immunology and Consultant Microbiologist in charge of the Immunology services and to the University Hospital of the West Indies. She is also the Department’s Quality Manager. Research interests: Autoimmune diseases; HLA associations with disease.
Dr. Alison Nicholson
Dr. Nicholson is Senior lecturer Bacteriology and Consultant Microbiologist to the University Hospital of the West Indies. Dr Nicholson Chairs the Infection Control Committee of the University Hospital. Research interests: Mechanisms of antibiotic resistance, antibiotic policy and control of healthcare related infections.

Dr. Vickers is Lecturer in Virology and Consultant Microbiologist for the University Hospital of the West Indies.

Dr Karen Roye-Green is Lecture in Bacteriology and Consultant Microbiologist to the University Hospital at the West Indies.

Dr. Anzinger is a Lecturer in Virology. His research interest is in the immunology of retroviral infections.

Ms. Christian is Lecturer in Bacteriology and Molecular Biology. Research interest: Antibiotic resistance; molecular epidemiology and antimicrobial resistance of Trichomona vaginalis
