Teaching

The main thrust of the department’s teaching is in the undergraduate MBBS and postgraduate DM and MSc programmes. In addition, teaching is conducted in several other programmes in the Faculty of Medical Sciences including the BSN and Physical therapy.

Research

Research is conducted in all areas of Microbiology with a mean research per capita output of a maximum of 2 papers per year and a minimum of 0.05 papers per year over the last 10 years.
