Dr. Chevanese L. Samms Brown is a Professor of Human Resource Management, whose work has explored organizational values, DEI, entrepreneurship, creativity, management education, human resources management and employee behavior. Dr. Samms Brown previously served as a tenured professor at Savannah State University and held faculty appointments at St. Thomas University, Midland University, and the University College of the Caribbean. She has also worked as a human resource practitioner and consultant, leading organizational development, training, and employee relations and engagement initiatives. She has been teaching in higher education for more than a decade and currently teaches Organizational Behavior, Human Resources Management, Strategic Human Resources Management and Labor and Employment Law.
