June Ann Castello

June Ann Castello, a trained teacher, has a Bachelor’s degree as well as a M.Sc. in Gender and Development Studies. She has worked in education for many years both as a teacher and as an administrator. She is currently employed as a Lecturer in the UWI’s Mona Unit of the CGDS, teaching courses in Gender and Caribbean Culture, Men and Masculinities in the Caribbean and (at the Graduate Level) Sex, Gender & the Family. Her research interest is Gender and Religion
