Immunohistochemical Expression of Bcl-2 and Microvessel Density in Uterine Fibroids in Saudi Patients

Issue:
DOI:
10.7727/wimjopen.2015.038
Pages:
121–6
Synopsis:
Bcl-2 protein plays an important role in the growth of tumours through preventing the normal course of apoptotic cell death. CD34 is an indicator of the new vascularization of the lesion. Leiomyomata of Saudi patients expressed upgrading of Bcl-2 and proved the increased vascularity of this tumour as expressed by CD34.
