CARIMAC and Frame of Reference hosts Go-Jamaica Film Rush 2023 Film Workshops and Panel Discussions

KINGSTON, JAMAICA - February 3, 2022 - The Caribbean School of Media and Communication (CARIMAC), in collaboration with Frame of Reference (FoR), will stage the hybrid event, Go-Jamaica Film Rush 2023, on February 11 at 9:00AM in CARIMAC, Annex 2 and on Zoom. Registration for Go-Jamaica Film Rush 2023 is free and open at Eventbrite.com. This is a Film Workshop and Panel Discussion for Caribbean secondary school students aged 16 to 24 who want to pursue a career in Film Production and Animation through CARIMAC's Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) programmes.

Go-Jamaica Film Rush is a one-day event in which Jamaican film and animation experts teach students about pre- and post-production in filmmaking and the industry, among other things. Participants will have the opportunity to network as well as win cash prizes and a summer internship with Frame of Reference. The speakers for the event are Mr. Twain Richardson, Co-founder of Frame of Reference, Mr. Kyle Chin, Chief Executive Officer/ Creative Director for AfroAsian Productions, Mr. Javae Munroe, Chief Operating Officer for M-One, Mr. Dennis Fyffe, Cinematographer for Denni Visuals, Mr. Kadeem Wilson, Actor, Singer and Director, Ms. Sherice Bromfield, Video Editor, Mr. Saeed Thomas, Chief Executive Officer for M-One, Mr. Kaiel Eytle, Chief Executive Officer for Watooka Films Ltd, Mr. Garreth Daley, Managing Director/ Director of Photography for GD Films, Mr. Adam Cummings, Owner of Apeiron Digital Pro and Mr. Darren Scott, Director of Photography (Freelancer).
