CARIMAC Open Week 2026 will be held April 7–10 at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona, showcasing the creativity, scholarship and professional skills of CARIMAC. The week features screenings, lectures and student showcases that highlight emerging voices and the future of Caribbean media.

• Tuesday April 7 at 10:am at the Confucius Institute, UWI Mona - CINEMAC-Pre Show, a showcase for the Film and Animation students
• Wednesday April 8 at 6:00pm at the Confucius Institute, UWI Mona - the 16th annual CARIMAC Aggrey Brown Distinguished lecture
• Thursday April 9 at 6:00pm at CARIMAC Annex II, UWI Mona - Portfolio Day, the Digital Media Production Student Showcase
• Friday April 10 at 10:00am at CARIMAC Annex II, UWI Mona - Digitimes, the Journalism Students Showcase
