The Jamaica Game Developer Society (JGDS), in association with the Caribbean School of Media and Communication (CARIMAC), presents Global Game Jam – Jamrock 2024. This Jamaican edition will join over 100 countries around the world to help in unlocking the potential of the game development community. This year’s staging will take a hybrid format with game-lovers and budding game developers, software engineers, animators and creators joining in-person at our CARIMAC Annex 2 building or online via the JGDS Discord platform.
The participants will collaborate to make a video game based on a specific theme while simultaneously learning about the process of game creation from JGDS experts. The event will also include a presentation by a representative from Real Decoy, one of the event’s main sponsors. Join us as we foster the growth of the Jamaican game development community!
