Course Aims: 

The aim of this course is to introduce students to advanced issues in the design, development and evaluation of user interfaces for computer systems. Concepts in human factors, usability and interface design will be covered, as well as the effects of human capabilities and limitations on interaction with computer systems. Students will apply the concepts to the design and implementation of graphical user interfaces.

Course Assessment: 

Students will be required to pass both the coursework and the final examination to pass the course.
