Minor in Information Technology

Information Technology Minor

Admission Requirement: In addition to the general admission to the Faculty, candidates should have at least one approved CAPE science or HOD approval.

At the end of this programme students will be able to:

  1. Explain and apply appropriate information technologies and employ appropriate methodologies to help an individual or organization achieve its goals and objectives.
  2. Manage the information technology resources of an individual or organization, and function as an advocate for technology users within an organization.
  3. Evaluate and communicate the likely utility of new information technology to an individual or organization.

A minor in Information Technology requires:

Any three (3) courses from: INFO2100, INFO2180, INFO3105, INFO3155, INFO3170, INFO3180 and INFO3435.
