Since resuming administrative control of our Msc Computer Science, with every cohort of applicants there have been those with no prior academic experience or exposure to any Computing discipline. The Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT) aims to bridge this gap.It is a self-financing programme and it is expected that students will complete the diploma over a period of three (3) sequencial semesters with a total of thirty two (32) credits.
Our 7 faculties and 12 professional schools offer more than 200 programmes to some 18,000 graduate, undergraduate and continuing studies students.
The UWI, Mona ranks first in Jamaica among accredited tertiary-level programmes. In 2012, the University was again one of Jamaica’s Top 100 Employers.
