Masters of Science in Oppupational Therapy (MSc OT)

 

Duration: 2 years, full time

Mode of Delivery: Blended Format

 

Criteria for Admission

Applicants must hold a minimum of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with at least a grade point average of 2.5 from an accredited institution and demonstrate a commitment to professional healthcare practice. Students entering the M.Sc. Occupational Therapy programme must possess the following pre-requisite courses with a minimum B grade completed within five years of submitting their application:

 

Pre-Requisite Courses (minimum credit requirements at any level of university)

  • Anatomy with lab and Physiology: Acceptable course titles to fulfil this requirement include:
        • Human Gross Anatomy with lab (6 credits)
        • Human Physiology (6 credits)
  • General Psychology (3 credits)
  • Abnormal Psychology (3 credits)
  • Developmental Psychology (3 credits) - An acceptable course title to fulfil this requirement is Introduction to Developmental, Social and Abnormal Psychology
  • Physics or Chemistry (3 credits)
  • Sociology (3 credits) - An acceptable course title is Sociology and Development
