Advancing Care: The Launch of the New School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences
FMS is excited to share the launch of the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences headed by Dr. Carron Gordon. The new school has four divisions; Radiological Sciences, Physical Therapy , Speech and Lanuage Pathology and Occupational Therapy.
School of Nursing Receives 40 New Computers from the Richard & Diana Stewart Foundation
The University of the West Indies School of Nursing (UWISON) has received a generous donation of 40 computers from the Richard & Diana Stewart Foundation. This contribution will improve teaching, learning, and research, thereby supporting the school's mission to educate the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Our 7 faculties and 12 professional schools offer more than 200 programmes to some 18,000 graduate, undergraduate and continuing studies students.
The UWI, Mona ranks first in Jamaica among accredited tertiary-level programmes. In 2012, the University was again one of Jamaica’s Top 100 Employers.
