Synopsis: 
The main aim of the study was to evaluate macular structure in childhood due to their birth history. We found that prematurity might be associated with thicker central foveal thickness and thinner parafoveal thickness in childhood.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To evaluate macular structure in childhood due to their birth history, and analyse possible effects of prematurity and birth weight for gestatinonal age.

Design:A cohort, case-control study.
