In conclusion, significant differences in the pure-tone average values and hearing thresholds at 4000-12500 Hz detected in patients with osteoarthritis demonstrate involvement of the functions of the inner ear.

ABSTRACT

Objective: This study was designed to compare the prevalence of hearing abnormalities between the patients with osteoarthritis (OA) and an age and gender-matched control group without OA.
