M.Phil. and Ph.D. Degrees
The M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees are research-oriented and are based on the submission of a thesis.  Students are also expected to read prescribed courses viz.

Programme Objectives:

MAJORS: Single or Double?

A single major may be obtained by securing 32 credits in Level II and Level III courses from a single subject area e.g. Botany, Chemistry or Zoology. A double major may similarly be obtained by securing 64 credits in Level II and Level III courses from two subject areas e.g. Zoology and Botany.
