The Faculty of Science and Technology completed its first week of the annual Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations (CAPE) Workshops at The UWI Mona campus, which was featured in a recent publication of a JEDIC article seen here. The Science Lecture Theatres 1 and 2 were packed to capacity on each day with students from schools across corporate Jamaica.
The workshops are an outreach initiative of the faculty to support high school students and teachers with preparation for STEM-based CAPE subjects at both levels.
The workshops continue this week (January 13 - 17), targetting schools in the western parts of the country. They are being held at The UWI Western Jamaica Campus.
