Double Major - French and Spanish

The double major French and Spanish requires a minimum of 72 credits in total in both disciplines. Students must do all the required compulsory courses for the Spanish and French major.

FOUN1016 - Critical Reading and Expository Writing in the Humanities
or 
FOUN1019* - Critical Reading and Writing in the Disciplines
 
FOUN1002 - Language Argument
3/4 Free Electives
 
 
Level III
Either
HUMN3099 - Caribbean Studies Research Project
or 
At lease ONE French course and ONE Spanish course from:
 
At least One French course and Two Spanish courses from the following:

AND

5/6 Free Electives**

 

  • * Registration in FOUN1019 reduces the number of credits which can be taken in free electives at Level I.
  • ** Electives MUST include at least three (3) Humanities and Education courses outside of department of major.
