Eligibility:

The award is available to Jamaican Nationals pursuing a BSc. Degree in Tourism & Hotel Management or Business Management at the UWI, Mona campus.

Criteria:

The award will be based on:

academic performance based on the results of the previous year University examinations (minimum GPA of 2.5)
verifiable financial need;
demonstrated leadership qualities, volunteerism, and social involvement.

Method of Selection:

Short-listed candidates will be interviewed by a panel comprising of the donor’s organization and the UWI Development and Endowment Fund.

Failure to adhere to the following terms may result in the revocation of the scholarship:

The recipient must be available for a photo opportunity and provide various written inputs including an academic resume and other items to support donor reporting and promotion of the award.
The recipient is required to write a letter of appreciation to the donor.
