Eligibility:

The award is available to:

Jamaican Nationals who are enrolled in the Faculty of Law;
students who have successfully completed Level 1 of the LL.B programme and will be no more than 25 years of age on September 1 of the year of award.

Method of Selection:

Applicants shall be short-listed and interviewed by a panel comprising Myers, Fletcher & Gordon representatives and UWI personnel.

Condition:

The awardee will be required to serve in Jamaica for a period of three (3) years immediately following completion of the course of study. Employment with Myers, Fletcher & Gordon at anytime is entirely within the discretion of Myers, Fletcher & Gordon. Scholars who hope to work with Myers, Fletcher & Gordon as a law student are encouraged to apply early in the year in which they wish to be employed.
