Eligibility:

The award is available to Jamaica Nationals or students of Jamaican parentage who are:

Full time student registered in all Faculties EXCEPT Medical Sciences;
Entering LEVEL (year) 2 or 3 of study;

Criteria:

The award will be based on:

high academic performance in the last academic year's University examinations (at least a GPA of 3.3);
Verifiable financial need.

Method of Selection:

Short-listed candidates will be interviewed by a committee comprising personnel from the University and the Donor Committee

Condition:

The recipients are required to complete 100 hours or 50 hours of voluntary services with the UWI Development and Endowmnet Fund (UWIDEF) or any organization within the UWI community.
