Eligibility: 

The award is available to registered students in the Undergraduate Degree programme who are:

  • Jamaican Nationals
  • Any Age 

NB: Preference will be given to an adult returning student, who may have previously dropped out of a degree programme due to hardship.

 

Criteria: 

The award will be based on: 

 

  • Verifiable Financial need
  • High Academic Performance where students must maintain at least 3.0 GPA although a lower GPA of 2.5 may be acceptable based on extenuating circumstances. 
Method of Selection: 
  • Applicants are shortlisted on the basis of performance in Advanced Level GCE/CAPE Examination or University Examinations
  • Candidates will be interviewed by a panel comprising of personnel from the University and the donors
