Operation RTG: The Case for Change
Why is Transformation Critical
The value of Operation RTG for students, staff and other stakeholders of the Mona Campus is significant. The Campus Administration sees the need for administrative operations to better align with the UWI’s overall Triple A strategy. Improvements are critical in process efficiency and service delivery. The core business will be boosted when the administrative functions better serve the teaching and learning, research and innovation goals of the Campus.
What will change look like?
Staff, students and other stakeholders should expect new ways of operating, improved service provision and modernized organizational functions in the Offices of the Campus Principal and Deputy Principal and their sub-units; the Offices of the Campus Registry and the Campus Bursary and their sub-units. With a new organizational design and culture in place, one that promotes and rewards accountability,best-in-class customer service, and efficiency, the Campus will be optimized for sustained success, future growth and a competitive edge.
What are the benefits of change?
The Consultants, having conducted a comprehensive review and analysis, will present recommendations for specific changes impacting daily activities and outcomes in administration such as:
- Increased employee engagement
- Increased student satisfaction
- New, leaner and more effective structures and reporting relationships
- New process flows for key processes
- Reduction in non-value add use of time
- Reduction in ‘waste’ in processes
