Strategic Project Unit
Overview
The Strategic Project Unit ensures the strategic alignment and smooth execution of transformative initiatives to drive achievement of the Campus’ goals and the long-term success of the institution. We provide project management support and oversight of all major initiatives, including Operation RTG, and facilitate organisational efficiency through business process analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: We oversee the planning, implementation and monitoring of strategic initiatives in consultation with initiative owners, to ensure that projects are strategically prioritised and aligned with institutional objectives; completed in accordance with the approved budget, time and quality requirements; and achieve the intended outcomes and impact.
Business Process Analysis: We analyse institutional processes, identify areas for improvement, elicit stakeholder requirements and provide data-driven insights to optimise business processes, support technology integration and adoption to ultimately enhance institutional efficiency and effectiveness.
How We Support the Campus
We serve our stakeholders by: utilising sound project management methodologies to drive effective project delivery; coordinating strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects to ensure alignment with the Campus’ strategic priorities; supporting stakeholders in navigating change; improving accountability for project outcomes through structured monitoring and impact evaluation; and analysing business processes to identify areas for continuous improvement.
