Managing Water Resources for Sustainable Development in the Caribbean: Dynamic Policy Options

Several Caribbean countries experience high levels of water scarcity and
water stress. This poses an enormous development challenge for the region
given growing demand, inadequate infrastructure and low investment in
the water sector. A vast literature examines the impact of the management
of global water resources on climate change, poverty and sustainable
development. However, few studies have considered the impact of water
scarcity on growth and sustainable development in the Caribbean. This
