The Jamaica National Trials which was held on Saturday June 26,2010 at the National Stadium saw a display of UWI athletic talents. UWI scholarship athlete Hansle Parchment ran a PB of 14.10sec in the 110h to finish second on the final day of the National Trials. Also finishing second for UWI was Nadia Alexander 15.38m in the Shot Put. On Day 1 Darell Garwood equaled his PB 2.10m in the High Jump to win his second National trials. 1500m and 3000m Intercollegiate Champion,Tanice Barnet, also captured another national title by winning the 1500m in 4:39.96.
