The UWI Female Pelican's were crowned champions at the UTech Table Tennis Classics, after dismissing competition from the host's UTech to claim a comprehensive 4-1 victory. the male's had to settle for second position. In the individual event, national representative and UWI's Shenique Claire was crowned champion for the female division. This was the third TAble Tennis trophy for the year as the team had won the Intercollegiate Championships and the Jamaica tAble Tennis Club Championships this academic year.
