The UWI Mona Pelicans on Saturday March 31, 2012 defeated Mountain View FC 3-1 to move one step up the table in the 2012 KSAFA Super League. The season is shaping up for the better for the Pelicans who were off to a shaky start earlier. The first two goals were courtesy of UWI Scholarship athlete and National U23 Representative Andrae Bernal. The third goal of the match for UWI came from fellow scholarship athlete and central midfielder Mark McKoy who further cemented victory for the Mona Pelicans.
