With only a few matches before the start of the quarter finals of the JMBS/JNA Sunshine Open League, UWI Pelican Netballer teams 'A' and 'B' are sitting pretty atop the table.
UWI 'A' challenged Mico 'A' over the weekend but suffered a minor setback after losing 23-18 on the stadium courts this did not however hamper their chance of making it to the semi-finals. The 'B' team on the other hand continued their impeccable run for the title having yet to suffer a loss. Through tactics and well manipulated schemes, UWI 'B' brushed aside Molynes 'B' 35-10 to skip to the knockout round of the competition.
UWI 'B' played effortlessly in their match against Leiba Gardens on Tuesday of this week, exuded in their emphatic 44-14 victory to march on to the semi finals of the competition.
