Pelican and Sunshine Girl Malysha Kelly departed the island on Sunday June 26,2011 along with her teammates en route to Singapore for the World Netball Championships. The team is coached by another Pelican Oberon Pitterson who has played basketball and Netball for the University and Jamaica. 

Kelly believes that her game this year has improved alot due mainly to her constant training, exposure, dedication and maturity on the court. Therefore, having played in matches against Australia, New Zealand, England, and Trinidad this year Kelly is confident that her game has stepped up. Equipped with her training and technique, Kelly will try to meet the demands of this challenging yet fun sport when she competes this year in the World Championships to be held in Singapore July 2011.
