DOI:
10.7727/wimj.2017.064
Pages:
Synopsis:
Due to aging of population, number of elderly hip fracture incidence gradually increases, with an average growth rate of 1% to 3% per year, resulting in a serious impact on health of the elderly. The study was designed to explore effect of persistent family rehabilitation guidance on the elderly after hip re-fracture surgery.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To explore effect of persistent family rehabilitation guidance on the elderly after hip re-fracture surgery.

Methods: Conclude specific methods of persistent family rehabilitation guidance for elderly patients with hip re-fracture, observe patients’ hip joint function score, understanding towards rehabilitation knowledge and other indicators.

Pages:
Synopsis:
Fracture mainly refers to the interruption of integrity and continuity of bone. During the fracture treatment period, there are pretty significant particularities in following aspects: first, fracture patients need long time for bed rest. Secondly, the treatment cycle is very long. So this study was designed to check the clinical influence of personalized rehabilitation program on fracture patients' rehabilitation.

ABSTRACT

Objective: This research analyzed the clinical influence of personalized rehabilitation program on fracture patients' rehabilitation.

Anatomical Features of Posterior Maxillary Teeth for the Positioning of Mini-screws in Beagle Dogs

DOI:
10.7727/wimj.2015.020
Synopsis:
The study aims to obtain accurate anatomical data on the posterior maxillary teeth in beagle dogs, the present study used solid samples for maxillary bone measurements to identify a suitable implantation point(s) for MSIs, as well as provide a simple and feasible method for establishing MSI animal models.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To investigate the anatomical morphology of the posterior maxillary teeth in beagle dogs to provide measurements for the positioning of mini-screw implants in the root furcation area.

Methods: The general conditions of the posterior maxillary teeth from 15 beagle dogs were observed. Afterwards, anatomical measurements of the related root furcation area were conducted using landmarks.
