The Faculty of Science and Technology extends warmest congratulations to our talented participants - Taijah, Ramone, Ashante, Johanna, Alricka, and Jessica-Lee - on completing the programme the 2024 FST/Bethel Youth Summer Employment Programme from July 8 to August 2, 2024.
This year's programme offered a unique opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the daily operations of the Centre for Marine Sciences (CMS), Caribbean Centre for Research in Bioscience (CCRIB), and the UWI Health Centre, gaining valuable hands-on experience in administrative and laboratory tasks. They also enjoyed tours of the Earthquake Unit, UWI and Zoology Museums.
Special thanks to Patrice Francis, Nashalee Lue-Harriott, Dr. Shani Roper, Kevin Tankoo, Dr. Tina Hylton Kong, Claudia Lewis, Keron Smalling and all staff members who contributed to providing a comprehensive experience for our participants.
