29 UWI Staff acquired Food Handler's Permit

On January 31, 2024, The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) at The University of the West Indies, Mona, organized a Food Handler's Permit Safety Training in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Wellness. A total of twenty-nine (29) administrative and service staff members from various faculties successfully completed the training. The Food Handler's Permit Safety Training reflects our dedication to maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene.

We express our sincere gratitude to the Ministry's Health Inspectors, namely Mrs. Lotaya Henry-Richards (Instructor), Ms. Shanice Blake, and Ms. Chellisa Grace, for their pivotal role in conducting an engaging and informative training session.

At FST, we're excited to continue facilitating opportunities for upskilling and job enrichment for all our staff members.
