The Faculty extends congratulation to Dr. Peter Nelson (Senior Lecturer, Department of Chemistry) who was selected as a recipient of the 2023 Governor General’s Achievement Awards (GGAA). The GGAA is highly revered award that acknowledges exceptional Jamaicans who have displayed outstanding leadership and academic excellence despite the adversities they have faced. Dr. Nelson was presented with his award on June 29, 2023 at King’s House by His Excellency The Governor-General Sir Patrick Allen, together with the Hon Marcia Bennett, Custos of St. Thomas.
