The Mona Symposium: Natural Products & Medicinal Chemistry is a biennial meeting that has been hosted by the Department of Chemistry at UWI, Mona in January of even number years since 1966. The next staging in January 2020 will mark a celebration of over 50 years of bringing the best Organic Chemists in their field to the UWI shores. The symposium will feature oral and poster presentations on the following themes: Biocatalysis; Bio-fuels; Bioactive materials; Synthesis; Ethnopharmacology; Metabolite profiling; Emerging challenges and opportunities in natural products management.
