The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (5C's), Belize, celebrated 20 years under the theme "Journey of Climate Leadership and Resilience". Celebratory events included a Prime Minister's reception, a groundbreaking ceremony, a series of panels reflecting on its inception, growth and future, and a glitzy banquet and awards ceremony at the Belize Biltmore Plaza. At the banquet the Climate Studies Group, Mona (CSGM), in the Fcaulty of Science and Technology at The University of the West Indies, Mona was awarded a partnership award, for its "steadfast partnership and collaborative efforts in advancing CCCCC's mission to build climate resilience in the Caribbean".
